The Cardiology Masterclass Short Courses on selected topics related to cardiovascular disease management and prevention have been designed by the leading cardiologists across the country with an aim to build capacity among physicians.
This self-paced learning module on an interactive web-based platform will allow the physicians to upskill while managing clinical responsibilities.

To update the physicians with the latest advancements in the medical field
Online learning platform, which will enable physicians to attend sessions remotely using video-conferencing. The course curriculum comprises of offline reading material with 3 Live Sessions (conducted once every three weeks) that would feature case-based discussions and group exercises. Q/A’s, quizzes and polls would are incorporated to increase participant interaction. Additionally, participants will have access to a variety of case studies and weekend assignments as part of the program's training.
MBBS with minimum 3 years of clinical experience
or
MD (Medicine/Internal Medicine/Family Medicine)
It is a three Modular course, which includes various aspects of ECG reading and interpretation. The course includes three live lectures conducted once in three weeks, interactive reading material, pre-recorded concept videos & case studies. The topics covered in this course are:
Lecture 1
Basics of ECG and reading a normal ECG
ECG in Myocardial Ischemia and Infarction
Lecture 2
Arrhythmia
Lecture 3
Miscellaneous Conditions
Practice ECGs
It is a three Modular course, which includes diagnosis and management of heart failure. The course includes three live lectures conducted once in three weeks, interactive reading material, pre-recorded concept videos & case studies. The topics covered in this course are:
Lecture 1
Aetiology, Pathophysiology and classification of heart failure
Lecture 2
Diagnosis/Evaluation of patient with heart failure
Lecture 3
Management of heart failure: Acute decompensated heart failure, Chronic HF: HFrEF and HFpEF
Participants who will attend all the three sessions and complete weekend challenges will be given a “Certificate of attendance”.
A “Certificate of Completion” will be given to those who pay the examination fee of INR 2000/- and pass the exit examination. This examination fee will be separate for ECG and HF courses.
The criteria for certificate of completion of program will be:
• Successfully attending all three sessions
• Successful completion and submission of weekend challenges
• Appearance and clearance of final examination in the form of MCQs (min. 50% score required to clear the examination)
• The candidate completing the course successfully shall be awarded the completion certification issued by PHFI
